Hot Potato is a party game published by Mellor LLC. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does with your information. The short version: nothing leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Hot Potato has no account, no sign-in, and does not send any information off your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

The app offers one optional in-app purchase, a one-time "Premium" unlock. If you buy it, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google through your store account. We never see or receive your name, email, or payment details; we only learn, on your device, that the unlock is active. We use no third-party billing or analytics service.

What stays on your device

The app saves your player names, chosen potato characters, scores, and game settings in your device's local storage so they are still there next time you play. This information never leaves your device and is not visible to us or to anyone else. Removing the app deletes it.

Internet and permissions

The app works fully offline and requests no special permissions. It does not use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or files. On iOS the app plays sound even when the silent switch is on, because it is an alarm-based game; this is a sound setting, not a data practice.

Children

Hot Potato is family friendly and suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
